Tier 1 to ILR - Absences - Employer Letter - please help

Post by simic » Mon Nov 16, 2015 10:21 am

Hi

We have an in-person appointment at the PEO on Wednesday.

The case is straight forward - 5 years on T1 - full time employed through out. My only question is around absences.

we have 3 absences in 2012 totalling to 83 in that year. All of these were to India. Our total absences over the past 5 years is around 123. Two of these were covered under annual leave and one was remote working from india. All of these were completely paid for in the UK with taxes and NI paid here.

The employer doesn't have records that date that far back and have confirmed in the email that they don't have absence records but do have payroll records and can confirm that all absences were either covered under paid annual leave or work related. They have all mentioned the salary details for the whole year to show there was no unpaid leave in that period.

Thanks a lot!
