Question about the original HO letter...

Post by crossrapids » Tue Oct 16, 2007 3:04 am

Hi, guys,

I'm now a student in UK and planning to apply for HSMP soon. In order to claim the 5 points for UK experience, I need to provide the original letter of permission from HO conferring my leave to enter in the UK as a student as requested by the Guidance. But the problem is when I got my student visa last year in the USA, I didn't receive any HO letter. All I have is just the student visa stamp on my passport. Can anybody out there tell me what I should do? Have my passport and the visa stamp notarized? or any other way?

Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to any suggestions.

You need to send a notorised copy of the visa stamp, explaining that no cover letter was sent (as they never are!).
