Proof of address FLR(m)

Post by davidwilkinson81 » Wed Nov 25, 2015 11:52 am

My Wife (then fiancé) moved over on 30th August.
We married a month ago and I'm just completing the flr(m).
I appreciate the flr(m) covers a lot of different types of applicant so I'm assuming that I don't have to provide 6 joint letters as we have only lived together for 3 months? Is this true or do I have to spend the next month transferring everything into joint names and awaiting post?
Many thanks

FLR(M) is used for first time and for extensions so it can be confusing.

If your partner came on a fiance and now applying for FLR(M), you do not need 2 years cohabitation etc.

Thanks for the prompt response.

So just to confirm, we don't need to provide 6 joint letters. I've scanned the web for something official without any luck. Should I write a supporting document explaining why we don't have the letters?

Apologies, our first fiancé visa application was declined on a technicality, even with a solicitor. So, I'm being perhaps overly cautious.

Understandable. It would help if the Home Office changed their policy of issuing generic application forms, which only cause confusion. :? You won't need the 6 pieces of co-habitation proof, but you should show that you are now living together (tenancy agreement or mortgage), together with wedding photos, marriage certificate. + evidence of employment, bank statements etc.
Your wife will have to pay the £500 NHS surcharge online before submitting her FLR(M) visa application.

Thank you so much, that's a weight off of our shoulders.
