Tier 1 (G) Dependent Eligibility for ILR

Post by saneej4u » Thu Dec 03, 2015 10:50 am

Hi

I got Tier-1 General in 18-April-2011 and my wife came to UK in August-2013.And I am eligible for ILR in 18- April 2016.

What is your opinion of applying visa separately? , for example
Since I am eligible to apply for ILR 28 days before 16 April 2016, what about only myself apply for ILR via PEO(hope will get confirmation on same day) .Once I got ILR, apply dependant visa(again I don’t know which form I need to use for dependant visa in this case).
Reply would be appreciated.

She can continue to extend her visa on the Tier 1 Dependent form see here (click) until she meets the requirement to qualify for ILR. She will have to pay the health surcharge before she submits to extends her visa.

She can apply on the same day as you but in an appointment a couple of hours after yours or she can apply by post once your ILR is granted. It is your choice.

Please don't keep tagging your question onto other members threads. I moved you topic here to avoid confusion.

Hi CR,

Sorry to bother you again.

I have got one more question.

I am waiting for Tax amendment from HMRC, so I might submit my ILR via post along with dependant. So In this scenario do I need to fill dependant details and payment details in my SET (O) form or a fill those details in Tier 1 dependant form separately.
I never applied visa along with dependent.

Reply would be appreciated.

Kind regards
