Postal Tier 1 G application after refusal at premium

Hello everyone,

I am new to this platform and for the first time daring to ask a question. I am confused about some issues and will be grateful for your help.

My current leave Tier 1 General is valid until 5 February 2016 and my 5 years time on Tier 1 General is completing on 10 January 2016.

I booked a premium appointment at Croydon PEO on 18 December 2015 for ILR through Set (O).

Now my questions are:

1. Just in case my application is refused for some reason, will this also invalidate my remaining leave till 5 February 2016 or not?

2. If got refused in premium application, will it be possible to submit fresh Set (O) application in the post during my valid stay?

3. Will this effect 3C, 3D continuity in my stay towards ILR (LR) as my 10 years will be completing on 30 August 2016?

3. If an in-time valid application remains undecided when your current PBS leave expires, you will be covered by section 3c until such time that the application is decided or all appeal options are exhausted.

Thank you for your response. What is invalid application?
if I submit a postal in time same SET (O) application after getting refused in premium application, will my application considered valid, or do I have to apply in another category, eg FLR FP etc or same application on different grounds?

Example of invalid applications = used the wrong form, payment not successful, mandatory information not completed in the form, etc.
