ILR Dependant

Post by ATP1983 » Sun Dec 13, 2015 5:15 pm

Hi

Have a couple of queries regarding my Wifes ILR visa---

1)I have just received my ILR. and My wife is currently on Tier1 dependent valid till April 2017.
Should i change her visa or she can continue to remain on Tier1 dependent while I'm on ILR?

2)Next Year I can apply for Citizenship during which my wife still remains on Tier1 Dependant -- Is this Fine?

3)April 2017 my wife would have finished 4 years as a Tier1 dependent-- At this point what visa will she apply for as I am on British citizenship then? is it FLR(M)?

4)If its FLR(M) then in April 2018 my wife would have finished 5 years --4 Years a Tier1 Dependent and 1 year as FLR(M) --Is she then eligible to apply for ILR?
I just happened to hear that she would have to again stay for 5 years on FLR(M) to be eligible for ILR ie.. previous 4 years of Tier1 dependent are nullified! --Is this True

Please advice

Thanks
Aldrin
