Mismatch between Salary Letter from employer and Salary Slip

Mismatch between Salary Letter from employer and Salary Slip

Hi All,
Some of my allowances in my Gross salary , will not be shown in my salary slip . So I am planning to get a letter from employer stating my gross for the past 12 months . The problem is , is it ok if the Salary slip and the employer letter doesnt match . Or else can I submit the letter from the emplyer alone without the bank statement and the salary slip. Pls advice , urgent .
