Received approval but no invitation letter

Hi guys

I've received a letter from HO confirming that my naturalization application was successful and I should receive an invitation letter in the next 2 weeks. It's now been 10 days and still no sign of a letter, I called my local council and they said they haven't received anything yet from HO.

Has anyone been through the same situation that can shed some light on what to expect?

Should I call HO and inquire about it? If yes, does anyone have a number I can call please?

Possible delays by royal mail due to Christmas perhaps?

Yeah it could be I guess. Do you think it's worth contacting HO to see if they actually sent it yet?

Just in case it helps anyone, I got the invitation letter yesterday, dated 6 dec so I guess it was just a royal mail delay like CR001 suggested
