Spouse visa for British

Post by RR17 » Wed Dec 23, 2015 9:27 am

Hi Guys,

Recently my naturalization was approved.

Need to apply for dependent visa for the first time (Spouse outside UK). Can you please confirm supporting documents listed.

1)Spouse has MBA degree(English), Is IELTS still required?
2)Finance Requirement (3 Months payslips).
3)TB Test.
4)Marriage certificate (Is photos still required?)
5)Trying to find right form to apply from Ind Vfs? Its confusing to apply dependent in 2 year or 5 year route to join the British person.

Please advice best route..

Many Thanks ,
RR

1. Does PBS Calculator award points for English? Might need to do a NARIC language assessment.

2. You need 6 months payslips and 6 months bank statements showing that you earn minimum of £18,600pa

3. If India (as your post in #5 suggests), then yes, she needs a TB test.

4. How long have you bee married?

5. VAF4A and there is ONLY a 5 year route. Apply to Join Family in the UK (click)

Many Thanks for your quick and concise reply CR001.

1. Not sure yet, I will perform checks as soon as I receive certificate. I guess IELTS is not required, if MBA satisfies PBS calculator or NARIC assessment isnt.

4. Not married yet , but Preparing to get marry in 4 months and looking to bring her as soon as I can really.

Please Suggest.

You can only apply once you are married. So do a bit of reading and preparation in the meantime.

Do you meet the financial requirement of £18,600pa?

Keep an eye out for any changes that might happen. HO is sometime a bit unpredictable and there could be some changes before you apply next year.
