English Language test requirements

Post by marksha » Sun Dec 27, 2015 6:57 pm

Dear Mod,

I have taken IELTS test in October 2010 and at that time I was working under 5 years UK work permit. In order to change 5 years work permit visa to Tier 2 General I have taken IELTS general exam from Warwickshire College in October 2010.

As part of Tier 2 visa requirements they have accepted the IELTS exam (granted 10 points towards COS) and approved the Tier 2 General visa in August 2011. However my I.L.R visa was granted in March 2012 and I am planning to apply for naturalization in Jan 2016.

Would like to know your thoughts about following queries

1)
As per the recent changes do I need to retake the IELTS exam again as language requirements?

2)
I am under impression my expired IELTS test results copy would be still accepted – Yes or no?

3)
My Master’s degree was assessed by NARIC as equivalent to UK bachelor’s degree

Could I use the NARIC letter in case IELTS test ( currently expired) if it’s not acceptable ?

Your response would be appreciated

Kind Regards
