10 days gap and FLR (LR)

Post by therock » Sat Jan 02, 2016 8:32 am

Hi,
Came to the UK: 17 February 2006
Current leave to remain expiring: 10 January 2016
I have got a PEO booked for 08 January 2016 for my ILR

I know I am short by 10 days. Do I have any chances?

Thanks

I would withdraw the appointment as I think you are likely to be refused as you don't meet the residency requirement (28 days before your 10 year anniversary).

Apply by post and the 10 years might be considered from the date the decision is made (as it is meant to be decided on that day, not the date of application).

You essentially wasted £400 and probably even more if you proceed. You would have better off making a postal application and varying it at PEO.
