EC timeline: Applied from Chennai

Post by rose123 » Wed Oct 24, 2007 8:13 pm

Hi all,

I have applied my EC on 4th of Oct at Chennai VFS.
According to BHC the decision is not taken.
But they confirmed that they have received verification report from Intergra on 22nd Oct.

Is there anyone on the same band?

Or is there anyone applied EC on same/nearest date and receiced EC?

Hi Rose,

Congratulations!!!

Can you let me know if you had to give any special reason for requesting the visa to be valid from Nov 21st?

I will be applying for EC shortly & would like to request for a post dated EC stamp.

Thanks,
Josh

Post Dated EC

Post by rose123 » Sun Oct 28, 2007 11:19 am

Hi Josh,

U are eligible to apply for PR on completion of 59 Months in the UK, for which you have to apply for the extension for 3 times in the uk. If u enter the UK on the very first date then u have to apply for the extension only twice. If u have a post dated EC then u have enough time to pack ur bags and plan accordingly to get in to the UK on the very first date of the visa validity.

Cheers,
Rose

Post by rose123 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 4:10 pm

Hi Sreesri,
We have a friend in the UK therefore he sent us the invitation letter. To support your invitation the person inviting you should send u some sort of proof(Address) in form of utility bills like ElectrictyBill, Councill Tax Reciept, Mortgage Agreement and a copy of the passport.

Regarding the funds, you should show minimum of INR equalent to 2000 pounds per applicant. If you are applying with your spouse its advisable to have 5000 pounds.

ps: Avoid last min money transfers in to your account.

Hope the information provided is useful to u ....

All the Very Best

Cheers,
Rose
