Remaining Minimum Visa duration to travel

Hi All,

I have a quick question. My wife has Tier 1 (general) dependant visa which is going to expire in 3 months of time then I need to extend her visa.But the issue is we want to travel to India now for a month and one of my friends says my wife can go to India but can not travel back to the UK as she must need minimum 3 months visa left when travelling back to the UK. It sounds incorrect to me however I thought I should confirm it here. Please confirm it.

Your friend is talking nonsense.

She can enter the UK at any point before her visa expires.

Assuming you have ILR based on Tier 1 G and NOT 10 years long residence.

I hold British nationality via (5 yrs tier 1 G+1 ILR).
