I ve applied for my extension on 28th August with 2 dependant. So for 3 of us they charge £1800 which was suppose to be £1200 . I rcv do my biometric letter on 15th September . Done biometric on same day with 2 dependant. I've got a refnd £600 on 30th September . But after that since today no update from Ho. Ur really lucky that all was done so quickly. I don't. Know what happened with my application. Congratulations to u.

I got my nhs surcharge today after my application decision was approved. So may be your application has been approved as well. Its better if you comtact home office to check. Because if it would have taken them longer then they would have contacted you. So i think it is lost somewhere. Best to check with home office

May be I'm asking a silly questions but if home office has really lost our papers what will be the outcome. Does anyone have any idea? I know I'm asking kind of stupid question. But pls share if anybody has any experience on that.plss

It is quite odd that HO has taken so long to get back to you regarding your application but I doubt that you applications is lost. Did you contact them ??
Possibly your application might have raised some red flags for HO. Did you apply with dependants ? Have you or any of your dependants got any visa refusals before or criminal convictions/any issues with the police ? Have you had any issues with HMRC ?

You really need to get on the phone and enquire about your application. They usually let you know if your application is going to take more than 8 weeks. See what they say before making assumptions and hopefully you should get some answer from them.

Why did you send your leaflet, invoices and contracts, etc ?? I have seen many members here send these extra documents which are never required by HO.

If you read the section of genuine entrepreneur test for extension, it gives you hints to include the documents that proves that you ACTUALLY ARE an entrepreneur. So thats why as just not need to show investment rather you need to prove that you are real entrepreneur rather than just an investor

Hi congratulation
just need to check, Leaflet is not necessary but this is valid point that you need to show the engagement to be in business , so what about if someone's business doesn't need leaflet kind of things for example business consultancy business..

Yeah but that business you have to show business related advertisement like you would have advertised it one way or the other as business cant just rely on word of mouth. So for that you would probably have used google adwords or aomething else
