I am applying for naturalisation and my question is in regards to Referee (Professional referee).

Can a private company Director act as a professional referee?

Yes, if a VAT-registered company.

Hi, I hope it's OK to hijack this question.

Do you think a line manager or a site manager (kinda senior manager, supervises personnel as well) would be suitable as well? It's a VAT, ltd. company.
The person never used to be *my* line manager but as far as I understand that is not required?
