ILR Rejected

Dear Members,

I came to UK under Tier 2 ICT-Established Staff in May'2010.

My initial cos was issued on 20th April 2010 and first entry clearance was granted on 7th May 2010. I was not sure when the initial online application was made - i think it was somewhere in end of march 2010/first week of april 2010.

Recently, i did apply for ILR and the application was refused stating my first uk clearance was only after 6th April 2010 and not before!!!

Please advice, if i can gor for an appeal on any grounds.

You can only apply and submit online once you have the CoS issued, so your dates or guess doesn't make sense.

Thanks a lot for the clarification; this means that the application was made only on 20th of April 2010.

Please advice if we can use anything to prove that the process was initiated before the cut off date of 6th April 2010 as the difference is only 14 days from the date my initial cos was issued and the policy change date!!!

No, unfortunately there is nothing you can use to argue your point. You will need to find out exactly what the dates are for anyone to advise differently.

You would only be able to appeal if you find out the exact dates of the application.
