Hi All,
I have a query regarding previous earning:
I will be applying in Nov for my HSMP. Can I take 12 Months earnings from 01-Jul-06 till 31-Jun-07 or any period from my last 15 Months?

The issue is I have been in UK till Aug and I am planning to apply in Nov so Can I claims points from Jul-06 till Jun-07 or Sep-06 till Aug-06 when I was in UK?

Hey M8,
If u r claiming earnings from Jul 06 to June 07 and will b applying in Nov, u wont be able to get any points as your earning period shall be out of 15 months prior to making your application.
Yes u can use Sept 06 till Aug 07 as ur calim period and can apply ONLY in November 2007 as if u r late by this..then again ur calim period will be out of 15 months limit...

Since you were in the UK until Aug 2007 and in India after August 2007, you fall under the "working in more than one country" category.

Considering your claim period is November 2006 through to October 2007, you can request your UK salary from Nov 2006 thru to Aug 2007 to be considered (since the majority of the time was spent in the UK). This 10 month earning will then be pro-rated to 12 months and that will be considered as your notional earnings until October 2007.

If that benefits your case, good enough. Else follow the 12 month period of Sept 2006 to Aug 2007 and apply right away.
