Post by ZAFHUS » Mon Feb 08, 2016 12:26 pm

Hello All,

My empolyer had a home office compliance officer visit last month, they interviewed 2 of the migrant staff and also the empolyer for nearly 5 hours, they took bank statements of empolyer and migrants , attendance record and company accounts copy too. its been more than a month we havent heard any thing from Home Office. anyone know how long will they take to response.

our licence renewal is some time in july 2016,. anyone know will home office response or they dont if they think everything is genuinue and empolyer is following soponsorship duties?

You normally hear in about 8-12 weeks if there is a problem.

They should send out a letter / e-mail one way or another. Usually if nothing of concern you will get a letter stating maintain A rated licence in a shorter time scale than an intervention letter.

Thanks for your reply Frontier Mole,.
Just wanted to know i got a colleague in office who got tier 2 for 5 years in may 2014 till 2019, he was 24 years of age and empolyer put new entrant salary and he got his visa too. but now i am reading regardless of age if cos is for 5 years it has to be experienced salary? so in that case what is my colleague status, if his visa needs to be amended or not,as home office might have made mistake or that is not the case his visa is right as per rules in may 2014 as he was switching from student visa tier1 to tier 2.

HI ZAFHUS,

Would you be able to let us know what documents they checked and what question they asked, My problem is my company has nearly 20 branches and those branches kept employee files not the head office. Do they usually turn up to head office or branches (where migrant work)?

i would be very great full if you could share your experience and info you might know

@zafhus; do They visit your company due to some particular reason? Like new cos requested or change of business premises or its just a susprise visit without any prior notice. ?
Also your company as Tier2 is newly registered or old.
