naturalisation case work no reply 10 months now

Post by ILR10YEARBASIS » Thu Feb 18, 2016 10:42 am

my friend applied for naturalisation in May 2015 for himself and his two children. they recorded the biometrics I June 2015. After that no reply from them. so he called them 03001232253 and the lady took his detail and said some obe will ring. when they rang they said they cannot give any information , he was told to write a letter explaining his situation . he wrote them a letter sent it in recorded delivery so far no reply .
is there any way he can enquire about his application as its been 10 months ?

I suggest that he contacts his MP and asks them to intervene on his behalf. This generally gets things moving.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

One more suggestions (which I just gathered from being on the forum), but this will not expedite the process but it might enable you to know what is going on with your case - Make an SARrequest. There is a currently a free fast track SAR facility available and you will get the response in couple of weeks (from my experience). However, if you make the fast track SAR request you won't be able to make another SAR request for next six months.
I am not an immigration adviser...All IMHO.
