Immigration History for ILR

I believe now I will eligible for ILR (28 Days before 12-Apr-16, i.e.15-Mar-2016), but have slight confusion on the Section 6: Immigration History of ILR Set(O) form.

Below are the 2 Different Calculations and I have some doubts on it.

As per 2011 Entry (2nd Entry) , these are my following Absences

12-APR-2015 - 12-APR-2016 --> 18 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
12-APR-2014 - 12-APR-2015 --> (No break)
12-APR-2013 - 12-APR-2014 --> 22 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
12-APR-2012 - 12-APR-2013 --> 21 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
12-APR-2011 - 12-APR-2012 --> 12 Days Absence (got the job offer in UK to join 1-Jul-2011 but had to go India for PCC (police criminal check) Clearance Passport Office on 26-May-2011 to 7-June-2011


As per 2010 Entry (1st Entry)

25-AUG-2015 - 25-AUG-2016 --> 1 Day absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
25-AUG-2014 - 25-AUG-2015 --> 17 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
25-AUG-2013 - 25-AUG-2014 --> 22 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
25-AUG-2012 - 25-AUG-2013 --> 21 Days absence (Approved Leaves from Employer )
25-AUG-2011 - 25-AUG-2012 --> No Break
25-AUG-2010 - 25-AUG-2011 --> 171 days absence (didn't have the job from 25-Aug-10 to 31-Oct-2010 but went back to India for 1st Nov to 10 april 11) --> This also include those 12 days of absence (got the job offer in UK to join 1-Jul-2011 but had to go India for PCC (police criminal check) Clearance Passport Office on 26-May-2011 to 7-June-2011)

Query 1: What reason should I give for 12-APR-2011 - 12-APR-2012 for 12 Days of Absence?

Query 2: Should I use the First or Second Entry Rule ?

Query 3: In Section 6 - Immigration history in SET(O) form with Point 6.1

6.1 When did you (the main applicant) First enter the UK? This refers to the date of your First entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.

Does that mean Second Entry Calculation should be considered on which the application I will apply ?

Note: Initial Visa: 23-Jul-2010, Second Extension done 24-Jul-2012 for 3 years (Jul-2015) and 3rd Extension done on 8-Jan-2015 for 3 Years (Jan-2018)

Just mention reasons for absence were due to Police checks - Mention in a covering letter, Also mention the main focus of primary job was meant to be UK not home country.

The date you came in to the UK within 90 days from the entry clearance visa stamp. im typing this in a hurry, but I hope you get what i mean.

Hi argus7,

I still can use the date 12-APR-2011, which is anyhow making my 5yrs of completion in 12-Apr-16 but i can apply 28 days earlier, anytime after 16-Mar-2016.

As i don't want to use initial entry that 90 days (25-Aug-2010, as i have 6 months break from 1-nov-2010 to 11-apr-2011)

Whats your opinion?
