Immigration Timeframe...

Post by MikeX » Wed Nov 07, 2007 3:05 am

After spending 6 months (assuming this is the maximum time that I can be there) in Canada and having to go back (to USA), exactly how long must I stay in the USA before I can go back to Canada? Are there restrictions/regulations, such as needing a visa this time-around?

Any knowledge will help.

Hi,

From your posting, I assume you have US citizen. In that case, your maximum stay in Canada is 6 months, and you have to leave Canada by the end of this time period. However, there is no regulation on how long you have to wait before you can come back in Canada. Technically, you can go across the border and come back in Canada the same day.
