T2G dependant switching to T2G principal

Post by dima_a_v » Thu Mar 03, 2016 10:07 pm

Evening all,

My wife is a T2G dependant, and is about to apply for own T2G visa. RTML has been done, they wait for panel decision in march. And she will need to apply for her home country probably on 25th of March.

Question 1.

When does her existing visa stops being valid, at the moment of application? At the moment of new visa start date?

Question 2.
Can she keep working for the employee while in home country waiting for visa decision?

At the same time I (T2G principal) have been made an offer to come to work to another company. And they want to move very quickly and want me to apply on 15th of March (they have RTML, and the COS is unrestricted).

Question 3
Can i apply without dependant just for myself?

Question 4
If yes to Q3 can she proceed applying for her own visa?

Question 5
Is her visa still valid if i applied by myself, and till what point, till the start of my new job?

I know it sounds a bit crazy but it is actually what happens now.

Your feedback will be very appreciated, thanks a lot in advance!

1. From the date the new visa starts (if approved).

2. Should be fine.

3. You can apply just for yourself.

4. Yes

5. Yes, if she still has validity on her dependent visa, it will still be valid.
