Un-Restrited Cos Allocation

Post by Zulkhan » Wed Mar 09, 2016 10:24 pm

Dear All,

I am tier-2 general visa, I got a new job and my employer has submitted a request for CoS allocation on 4th March, we did not hear anything yet from UKBA. Could anyone let me know how long will this process take?

Thank you

Usually takes about ten working days. BUT it can be quite variable.

Can somebody please confirm:

Is the unrestricted CoS applied for people who are already in Tier 2 and now apply for same job with different sponsor?

In such case, HO's application processing will start from the time of applying or still need to be after 5th of each month?

Does HO care about the expired date of the current Tier 2 of the applicant to fasten the CoS process? What if the CoS is allocated too late so that the current Tier 2 expires?

Many thanks.
