I have moved your post to its own topic as the Pakistan Timeline thread is for TIMELINE POSTS ONLY.

I have a question.

Just doing an application for a Pakistani national.

The Fee coming up for the NHS Surcharge appear to be 248,000. Just wondered if it is a total cost of the application including the NHS Surcharge or Just the NHS Surcharge.

It seems way too expensive for NHS Surcharge, and i am thinking that both are charged at the same time.

Could you have inadvertently included the sponsor in the application too? That way the charge is applied twice....

It's a common problem Obie. You need to 'apply alone' and NOT include the sponsor details to get the correct fee of £600

Thanks for your reply. My employer was asking me to draft letter so they can prepare.

Do you know what exactly needs to be on the letter?

Thanks

I think that is the problem. The form prompts you to name a sponsor.

One will just have to seek a refund. I am sure UKVI will not be mean enough to hold that fees.

Will contact them.

Which foreign office? UK? No, it does not have to be registered with the UK foreign office if that is what you mean.

You can't pay for priority service online. You have to pay in cash at visa application center Gerry's. I have paid for this service there....

I think you just need to sumbit passports and need confirmation reciept of appointment and fees..i got this reply from ukvisa whe asked what doucment should be submitted at visa application centre in Islamabad
Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigrations international
enquiry service.

"In regards to your enquiry please be informed that when applying for a
settlement visa from Pakistan you will only have to submit your passport to
visa application centre. All other documents should be sent directly to
Sheffield."

http://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk

You can track your status via email form or call on contact numbers.

I reapplied on priority basis on 15 th March enrolled biometrics and submitted documents.
I have tracked on 29 march but still saying no updates regarding application. May be it will take time in my case

Hope you will get positive reply...
Best of luck
