ILR - Continous Period

Post by Kam1234 » Wed Mar 23, 2016 8:09 am

Dear Experts:

Please address the following quarry

According to immigration rules, for a dependant of Tier 2 Migrant needs to fulfil 2 years of continuous residence if they have been granted their entry clearance before 9 July 2012. After that time they have to complete 5 years, means if their entry clearance was granted after 9 July 2012. Right!

Now My wife was granted entry clearance on 4th April 2012. She came to UK little bit late like on 7th September 2012. Since that time she is here with me.

My questions are:

1. When she is becoming eligible for ILR?
2. Does she needs two years continuous residence or five years?

Regards and Many thanks

She can apply for ILR at the same time as you. Include her as your dependent on form Set(O).
Char (CR001 not Casa)
