Applying for surrender and OCI by Post

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of surrendering my Indian passport after acquiring British passport through naturalisation.
And then i will apply for OCI.

I have looked in the VFS website and there they only mention about the applying in person but no where its been mentioned about applying my post.

Can someone please let me know if its possible to apply by post or not ?
