About to claim benefits

Hello there
I recently got ILR though Tier1G, applying soon for naturalization of my uk born kids, can i apply for child benefit or i need to wait for their citizenship application conclusion?

secondly my wife's has also applied for ILR, so until she gets her ILR we can't claim child tax credits or working tax credits ? am i correct on this?

You can claim child benefit now in YOUR name only (as your wife does not have ILR yet).

Child tax/working tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse. No effect on her visa/ILR application.

So i can claim both despite she is not settled yet, wow thats new for me.
I read somewhere i can back track my claims for 3 months, is it in both types of benefits or only child benefits?

You can only claim or backdate a claim to your date of ILR being granted as before that date, you were not entitled to claim.
