ICT to TIER 1 to ILR

Post by Skdba » Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:09 am

Hi All

My situation is below:

Date of entry to the country: 24 Dec 2010 (On Tier 2 ICT)

Applied for Tier1 General in April 2011
Received BPR cards effective July 2011.
Applied for and received Tier 1 extension in May 2013 (valid until May 2016).

Company lawyer says time spent on T2ICT will not be counted towards ILR and I am eligible 28 days before Tier 1 start date i.e. June 2016.

Does it mean I have to apply for Tier 1 Extension (further leave to remain) for just one month or will home office have a consideration for the six month spent on T2ICT and I can apply for ILR in May 2016?

Thanks
SK

There is no possibility of applying for a Tier 1 G extension as this route is closed now. HO will NOT give consideration to your time on Tier 2 ICT as already advised last year.
