Combining Salaried and Non-Salaried income

Post by Alos » Sat Apr 16, 2016 8:15 am

Hello Members

A Friend is asking for your help about meeting the financial requirement for a spouse entry visa. The applicant's partner is on a salaried employment with an annual gross of 17000 Pounds. He is also doing a second non-salaried job on the weekends for another employer to cover the shortfall.

He has been employed for six months on both jobs and if combined his total gross income from the two jobs exceeds the required 18600 pounds threshold.

He has no other income. Can he combine a salaried and non salaried employment income from two concurrent different jobs for six months and apply under category A.
if not then could you please advice under which category can he apply taking into account that he has been on these jobs for six months only.
Thank you

Can any of the Knowledgeable members advice please. It is not clear from the guidance although only one Job is mentioned in Category A and in Category B it is required to submit 12 months evidence but the sponsor has been working for six months only and has had no other jobs for the past 12 months.
He assumed that his combined total for the 2 jobs will be enough to satisfy the financial requirement for six months under category A.

Thank you for your help.
