Overspeeding (3 points) applying for ILR

Post by snoopy01 » Mon Apr 18, 2016 11:49 am

Hi, I have just got a letter that I have overspeeded 41mph in the 30mph zone. I can't go for the course as I had attended the course last year. So this means I got 3 points on my license and a £100 fine, I am applying for ILR (10 Years Long Residency) in 2 months time.

Do I have to declare above points? Are there any chances of ILR approval with the above conviction?

Many Thanks!

For sure you will have to declare it. It is considered to be traffic offence not part major criminal offence you should be fine. They wont cancel your ILR for this reason. If you search the forum you will find lot of similar cases to got ilr . Read following post related to traffic offence and you will feel you are in much better situation :) Good luck
