Hi,
I finished a Masters in 2006 and eligible to apply for SEGS . But as I finished that I registered for another Masters and got student visa for that. Now I need to give up the current course and apply for SEGS from my previous course.
I am still inside the eligible boundaries to apply for SEGS from my previous course. But how can I explain them my need oF giving up the current course and switching to SEGS.
PLS HELP!!

I don't see a problem. If you want to leave the course you are perfectly able to do so.

If you provide the exact dates then it would help people to advise you better

Hi
Thanks for replying,
I finished my first masters in 2006. The visa for that course was until 20th Dec06. Then I was stamped for new course on 15th Dec06-31st Jan08.
My new course is due to finish in May08.
When applying SEGS are they strict on current course or will they consider the previous qualifications for SEGS regardless the current course.
Should I mention I am intending to leave the course. What would be a reasonable answer for that and would they ask for proof of current course status?
Thanks
Raji

Can't you only apply for SEGS within a year of graduating? If so, you don't have much time.

They will want to confirm that you are here legally, but oither than that I see no problems.

Thanks Victoria,
I am legally here as a student. But to apply this I would have to say Im going to stop my current MBA.
I can't see a reasonable answer for giving up the MBA. But actually I am not interested doing that. All I need is to switch to SEGS.
Can I say I lost my interest of doing the course?
Thanks

Why do you want to switch to SEGS if you intend to keep on studying? Or is the MBA part time? I don't understand.

Sorry, I meant I actually have no interest to do my MBA. I need to switch to SEGS.
I don't have any intention to continue studies. Will they accept me if I just say I lost my interest of studies.
thanks
