ILR App:calculating continuous period in UK

Post by navinw » Tue Apr 26, 2016 8:22 pm

Hi,

Route Tier-1 General

Can anyone advice on the calculating continuous period in UK to apply for ILR.
As far as i understand its the 28 days before the 5th anniversary on the entry date.

Like my visa details:
Valid Visa from - 30-Jun-2010
After 333 days
Entered in UK - 30-May-2011 - 29-may-2012
30-May-2012 - 29-may-2013
30-May-2013 - 29-may-2014
30-May-2014 - 29-may-2015
30-May-2015 - 29-may-2016

Complete 5 years : 30 May-2106

So i understand i can apply 28 before 30-may-2016

Issue:
Gov has updated the rule on 25-Apr-2016 about "calculating continuous period in UK" and i am very confused whether i can apply before 28 days or not. As i have entered in UK after 333 days after the visa was granted.
