Spouse Visa extension, proof of 2 years cohabiting

When we applied for visa, Accomodation was living with parents.

We are now moving into our new place together after living with parents for 9months.

I have read that we need a council tax letter with our names on it for 2 years.
Our names werent on my parents council tax letters.
All we have is bank letters in joint and individual names and my partner has government and bank letters from her country.


With 1 year 9 months left until visa extension we dont have 2 years and can only provide a council tax letter in effect from our move in date in 1 weeks time.

Is this a problem?

You need two years of cohabitation across any addresses you have lived.

It does not state that you have to have 2 years council tax.

Read page 62 and 63 of the FLR(M) form for examples of what HO expects.
