Tier 2 ILR queries

Post by Thais_London » Thu Apr 28, 2016 11:48 am

Hi, friends,

Apologies if this question has been asked before. I'm eligible to apply for ILR in June 2016, when it will be 4 years, 11 months on my Tier 2 visa. I'm now getting paid less than £35,000. In order to apply for ILR I either need a better salary at this company or better salary at another company. The question is since when? From July 2016? Or later? does it need to be one year on this 35 k salary or one month on this salary pro-rate prior to ILR application? What will I have to submit to prove that the employer agrees to pay me £35,000 - a letter from employer or payslips for previous months/year?

As per the guidance, you need to submit only the latest payslip and bank statement for Tier 2 to ILR. You need to earn minimum 35k at the time of application.

Thanks Anoops!
You mean only one payslip - I.e. for one month? and bank statement for one month too? That's excellent news, as I have more than one year to climb back up the salary ladder
