I didn't transfer my indefinite leave to enter the UK

Post by Tomo Spremo » Sun May 01, 2016 2:17 am

As you can see I didn't transfer my indefinite leave to enter the UK to my new passport till now, the thing is I already traveled abroad few times with it, I just was show them my indefinite on my old passport and that's it, my point now my friend told me that they will stop me because the expiry date was before nine years ago, and I keep telling him that this expiry date is for the passport not for the indefinite leave to enter the UK, and I already use it before, which one is right? I didn't traveled abroad for a long time so I don't know if they will stop me after my next journey? and what should I tell them?

When does your current ILR expire?

It if from 2007, and I didn't care to transfer it because I know the expiry date is for the passport.

Why do you want people to repeat the answer that vinny has already provided?
Is the accuracy of the answer already provided dependent on the number of responses / posts in the topic?
