Tier 2(gen) -switching employer with less salary is it ok ?

Post by Skope1 » Wed May 04, 2016 1:47 pm

Hi all,

i am on Tier 2 General and currently in the process of switching employer.
My current salary is 40k but i am trying switch with a salary of 35k (+potential bonus) which is within the range of the SOC rules and the RLMT requirements

i want to move outside london and this is perfect

Does it cause a problem for visa if switching for a lower salary ?? Is there any official rule stating that the new salary should be greater than the current salary when switching employer?

Please let me know thanks in advance

Also just to add will it cause any problem in the future for ILR?
