Hi,
I just applied for my Tier 2 General extension (main applicant) using 10 days service. I hope i will get extension by end of this month.
I have 1 children and 1 wife, I need to extend there visa as well as it will expire in July 2016 for them.
- Can I apply for them online like i did for myself ? I tried but there is no option for Tier 2 general dependent or partner
- My wife was already my dependent but my child is just born few months ago, do I need to fill same form them ?
Thanks a lot really appreciate your time.

Thanks a lot for your reply CROO1, its really helpful.
I am filling my wife's dependent form now, but it is letting me add my child to same application as well, do you have any advise about it ?

Yes you can submit online with all your dependants added in one application. i.e you can add your child to your wife's application.
Before submitting your wife's application you'll have to pay for the health surcharge fee for both your wife and your child (i.e One IHS reference number paid together for both)
You'll be able to download the document checklists and completed pdf forms , for both, once you complete the online application.
Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, it helped.
I just filled out form, my visa is until 20/07/2019, my wife current visa is until 10/07/2016, my son never applied for visa.
When I try to pay IHS payment, it is asking me for £1400 each...
Why is this ? I thought I only need to pay for 3 years for my wife and son then why it is charging me for 3 years and 6 months ?
Is there work around other then waiting till last day and then apply ?
Thanks

I have 1 wife and 1 child, I successfully extended my visa today using priority service.
Now when I go to IHS site to pay for my wife and child, I want there visa to start from 20 July 2016. My wife already has visa until 20 July 2016 but my child is born few months ago.
I don't want to pay £700 each but only want to pay £600 each. I can do this by applying on 1st July, is there any alternative ?
Thanks in advance for your time. Really appreciate it.

You should not include your details, they should be applying alone.
It will charge you for a part year as you are asking for a visa that is longer than 3 months. Their visas will be issued in line with your expiry date.

You can't select what date suites you. Apply closer to the date then and not now.

Can I not choose for my wife alone at least as she already has visa until 20 July. This will at least save me £100 for her.
Thank you very much

If you want a visa and rate closer to the 20th July, then suggest you apply closer to the 20th July.

Thanks for reply.
I gave up and applied for visa for my wife and son yesterday.
Now I need to send documents for them.
Q1. Can I send only my bank statements as proof of maintenance for my wife and children ?
Q2. Do I must have to attach tenancy agreement or show that my wife is living with me ?
Q3. Would child birth certificate enough as it has my permanent address on it ?
Please reply as soon as possible as I need now to send documents.
Thanks

Thanks a lot for prompt reply CRO001.
I have 2 addresses, 1 permanent and 1 renting.
I attached a internet bill with my name for renting property.
Q1. My wife is housewife and she don't have any recent letter or proof of address, tenancy agreement is on my and her name but hand writing is not clear, and her name was added to it after 2 months of me rending the place. so confused, do I need to send whole tenancy agreement or only part of it with details of myself, my wife and landlord ?
