refuge, kids born in UK befor he got the ILR

Hi,
My friend a refuge and he been in the UK since 2008, he got ILR on March 2015 him and his wife and 2 childrens, he want to apply for british citizenship next month, my question is do he need to apply also for his 2 children who were born here in the UK befor he got the ILR?

Yes, register them as British Citizens using form MN1.
