Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General

Hi All,

Excuse me if this question seems silly. I searched a lot and can't find any relevant answer to this.

While applying for switching to Tier 2 General, there is a section to select the 'Current Visa Status', and the question is 'What type of visa or leave to remain do you have?'

My ICT visa was issued in December 2010 and extended from within UK and current visa expires on Jan-2017.

I am confused which one should I select as my current visa category?

1) Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer): Established Staff
OR
2) Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer): Long Term staff leave to remain

Please advise.

You need to put the latest one. I guess that's LT Staff visa.

Thanks moonlight55, yeah current status is LT Staff. My doubt is why the list of option still maintains 'Established Staff' category as all those people might have changed to LT Staff category by now. Is that correct?

Can anyone help me out of the following situation.

Even if I got my initial Tier-2 ICT visa before April 2011 (Dec-2010), my first entry to UK was on May 2011. Will that be okay when I am switching to Tier-2 general, or is there any chance UKVI reject my application based on this situation.

Is there any section in Tier-2 guidance or immigration rules that clearly specifies these conditions.
