In the application for Permanent residence it quotes :

17.8 Have you (or any family members who are applying with you) ever engaged in any other
activities which might indicate that you may not be considered to be a person of good character?

( ) Yes Please provide details:

I have a simple caution for domestic Violence ( stupid fight argument with my lovely wife in 2014 )

How do I declare this Caution ?
Simple write Simple Caution ?
Do I have to be specific and write it down everything happened at the time ?

I am filling the form but dont know what to do here.

Hi Guys, thanks for replay.

I was with a solicitor but as I have all the documents for the application I decided to do by my self.
This is the only trick question.
I think as noajthan quoted :

It may be worth noting, its not necessary to struggle with the latest 'monster' form. It's neither mandatory nor a legal requirement to do so.

It's possible to either go commando (and apply by letter) or simply use an earlier (simpler) version of the form.

I was considering to use EEA3 form to apply but I heard it can take longer for the case worker to decide as its not the new form.

Do you know anyone who applied using EEA3 in 2016 and was successful ?

Not with EEA3 but my friend applied just with a letter and got the DCPR within 6/7 weeks.
EEA3 should actually make it easier for the caseworker too, but of course you could always get a caseworker who takes their time out of spite or simply because that's how they work. I suppose it really depends on who you get - some will be super efficient, quick and accurate in their decisions, some will take their time or make mistakes etc.

Yes - see timeline threads.

Based on members posting in timeline threads, it does not appear that such applications are profiled or specifically targeted for delays.
