Surrender certificate missing Passport Officers Sign

Hi All,
I received my son's surrender certificate last week and it has the seal but not the sign from the Passport officer. Is this an oversight or would it be acceptable for OCI application.

All surrender certificate has the officer's signature. This could be an oversight. Return to VFS and they will be probaby send it back to HCI for the signature

Seal and Signature , both important for India.... Pls send back to them and get it signed.
