PEO Croydon Jan 08 appointment

I want to do a same day ILR application when I'm eligible to apply in mid January (I have a straightforward application so I'll just go to the office myself). In calling Croydon today they said they aren't accepting January appointments yet - anyone know when they open their books for such appts? I really can't be asked to call back every day, waiting in the phone queue until I'm able to make a Jan appt.
