uk asylum waiting 1 year

am new here and want some help in my asylum application timings i did submit my application about year ago had all my interviews and still waiting for the decision ,i did call the home office that why its taking so long and there replay was that there is no time limits in asylum cases .

now pls if any one can to tell me what are my option to speedup this .

grounds are very spacific i can be killed in my country all avedence are handover but the point i am asking here why its taking so long to give me stay or refuse ,and other is that can lawyer speed it up pls

Sounds like the UKVI feel the claims are spurious, what are the bases of the asylum claims?
