Application forwarded to BHC: 30-Nov-07
Applied From :Bangalore

Awaiting with fingers crossed...I think now a days Integra Verification is mandatory for all HSMP applications.

One question ,How do i know the progress of Application? SMS to 5733 service just states "Application forwarded to BHC on XX-XX-XXXX" . I think this is tieup between VFS(NOT BHC) and 5733 Service.

hsmppune - I showed a hotel accomodation for 1 month

cdraina- guess you can use same appliaction, but you need to check with VFS.

pavankeerthi - Great buddy, you can send SMS for first 10/12 days and after that you can email if required. But most cases get decided between 12-15 days with 18 being maximum as per the VFS timelines.

I saw "times now" news today and came to know the VFS & BHC all offices will be closed between Dec 7-11

You have to submit seperate application forms for each of your dependants. My wife is doing EC from mumbai So she will fill separate form for herself and child.
Is the integra form is required?

I have got my HSMP approval on september 12,2007

I am applying for EC on 6th of this month.

I am providing the following documents for proof of my income

1) ITR for 1 year for the period claimed
2) 12 months payslips for the period claimed
3) salary certificate from my employer

Is it mandatory to show salary account bank statements

Any BDHC CHENNAI applicants please help me with my query on an urgent basis....

Yes. You have to show the bank statement for 6 months.

Hi friends,

I seek your advise on my EC case. I plan to go to the UK in Jan 2008.

My wife (who's expecting a child in April) will join me after the delivery in May/June. After the child's birth she will get the child's name attached to her passport.

Would you recommend me to apply for my wife's EC along with mine? OR shall I wait till my child's birth and then apply for EC for both of them?

In case I apply for my wife's EC along with mine, will we have to file a seperate EC for the kid or would the inclusion of child's name on my wife's passport be sufficient (since she will have an EC on her passport)?

cdraina,

It is no longer possible to include the child's name in the parents' passport. The child will need it's own passport. You will have to apply EC for both your wife and child separately.

aug07, when I went to enquire at the VFS in Chennai, they told me that only the primary applicant needed an integra clearance. It is not necessary for the dependant. I would still suggest you to get that clarified with BHC though.

Guys,

I got my Integra verification done today, actually there was a mail with some checklist of verification items sent to my HR team on friday.Then today HR team had got a phone call as well from mumbai reg integra.

Now, this verification in my company they came to knw that am goin for HSMP & they informed my manager. now my state in this comp is shaken as my manager lost some trust.I desp need this visa else i will be in doom

..I now tgt its better to keep informed earlier rather giving surprises to them..

Any info like how many days it takes to get decision after the integra verificaiton.?

I understand ur plight as I am too contemplating how to handle this situation

One Question ---did you give specific HR contact/mailid or they went through board line/general HR email? Because i applied on 29th Nov but till date i had no sign of integra checks from both employers..

Thanks buddy.I have given specific details for integra(but not in HR), but still the Integra had reached the correct contract point, tat very surprising for me..

Also I guess Integra being in this for a long time now would know whom to contact in every company. fortunately/unfortunately since mine is a welll known MNC they could have done it easily i guess.But still i wonder how they can contact someone who we din want them to

.Atlast let them do any no of checks but finally i shd get a visa

List of EC docs at highlevel

-All initial approval docs
- latest bank statements
- latest 2 months payslips
- employment exp letters
- education certificates
- job offer(not mandator)
- acomodation - i shwed a hotel booking
- funds proof - i had taken bank loan
- ITR(if you have)
- VAF2 form & integra
- Atleast one set of photocopy of all above docs

Hope i covered all .may differ individually.for your question about funds, you can show about 3.5L for one person and this can be done thru a Personl loan..

Dont take chances. Better you can get the money from him and deposit in your account in a period of 10/15 days by breaking the money. Or can ask your dad to give a cheque for the entire money and deposit in ur account.all you need to prepare is a notarised copy if letter stating that you dad had gifted you this for your stay in UK.finally its better to shw funds in ur account..

I applied EC on 23rd Nov from Chennai. I am not sure if the integra verification happened!

Do they do the verfication with HR or they call up the manager. My manager seems a bit irritated with me lately but he has not disclosed anything. But I had given them only the HR number. Would they be able to get my manager's number too.

Today 11th working day after discounting the hols from 7-11.

Keeping my fingers crossed for EC to arrive before the Cristmas holidays. Any idea , how long they are closed for Cristmas and New Year??

I think the Integra does not need your manager & also they are interested jus to confirm the autenticity of the employment details which your manager anyway cannot confirm in detail.So relax and jus wait for result.

I had sent a mail to chennai BHC to check if Integra report is received and got a stnadrad reply which is of no use.

Also its rgt tat we might get delayed decision.but in my case the Integra report was sent from my company yesterday.So i dont knw when the Integra report will reach BHC, then hw mnay days the BHC take after the integra report.?
