spouse visa accommodation issue help

Hi Everyone,

I need your help, I am applying for spouse visa but I have issue with accommodation that i need clarification on. Basically I am living at current property for 3 years under tenancy agreement and as per the contract term dates mentioned on the tenancy agreement has ended and I am on pro-rata on monthly basis since 2 years.
can I use the same contract to fulfil my accommodation requirements ? or does the dates mentioned on the contract has to be future end dates? also the landlord is italian and he does not understand much english so he can't give me any letter to confirm the situation. but I can get a house survey report done.
