Long stay with visas under both UK and EU rules

Post by tweety0211 » Sun Jun 26, 2016 8:57 pm

Hello everyone
I was hoping someone can help me clarify under what law and when would i be eligible to apply for PR. Below is brief history of my visas here:
1/06/07 arrived to the Uk on aupair visa
April 2009 changed to student visa
November 2011 student visa extented until 2014 (PBS)
3rd October 2012 married EU national abroad, and we arrived back to the UK in end of October 2012.
Eea residence card received in February 2013 valid till Feb 2018

When will i be able to apply for permanent residence? Mist I wait until Feb 2018 or can I do it on 3rd Oct 2017? Or 1st June 2017 when i'll be residing 10 yrs in the UK? My husband was a permanent resident already when we married.

Thank you all very much for looking at my question. Hopefully someone will shed some light here.
D

You may be able to qualify for ILR Long Residence in May 2017, or Permanent Residence under EU law from October 2017.
