Tier 2 Experienced salary ?

Post by green599 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 1:30 pm

Guys

I really need your help.

I am working for NHS as Technical Analyst (IT), currently on Tier 2 from NHS.

I moved from PSW to Tier 2 General in Sept 2013.

My extension is due in Dec 2016.

If I apply for extension now for the same employer (NHS) on the same job (Technical Analyst) do I need experienced salary which is £33000 ?

My salary is not £33000 per year for 40 hours a week.

I am above 25 years old age limit.

can anyone please help?

I am at £29000 per year for 37.5 hours a week.

Thank You

you will need experienced salary for your extension. No way around it.

Your equivalent salary as 40 hour per week is presently £30,933 so it does not meet the experienced salary rate for the job.

On 37.5 hours you have to be paid £30,938 p.a. To meet the requirement pro rata, so you are a nearly £2k short of the mark.

Thanks for the reply, Yes you are right. I have received the sponsor from the NHS but I dident applied.

I know it will be refused and there is no way NHS can increase my wages :(

cant really think of anything else as finding another Tier2 is impossible.

I wish I could suggest a solution, it would be somewhat better if there was an exemption for the NHS as the UK is going to lose good employees / people who have taken the roles.
I wish you luck.
