Surrendering Indian Passport on behalf

Hi all,

I got my British Citizenship (Passport as well) and I would like to surrender my Indian Passport.

Is it ok if my husband can submit on my behalf at VFS or is it mandatory for me to go in person.

Please let me know.. thanks

Hi,

I just surrendered my wife's passport on her behalf. They asked for the authority letter which I had taken. You can find a sample on the HCI website.
