I got my EC stamped on 4th Dec for 2 yrs. I would like to thank everyone on this forum for all their help, support and replies. Do ping me if anyone needs any help on EC.

Hi pdeshpande,
I have a query.

I am applying for HSMP EC from Mumbai.I have question regarding section '6.3 Dependents' of the VAF2 form.

The question is : Should I actually fill this section given my situation below:
For Accommodation I am showing that I will be staying at my sisters place in London. For that I am providing sisters payslips(she is lawfully working),House rent agreement papers and Elec. Bills. But this is for accommodation only and NOT sponsorship because for Sponsorship I have enough funds in my Bank account (3,60,000 INR) so I will self-sponsoring my travel. Given these facts should I fill section 6.3?

There is note on the form under sec 6.3 saying 'To be completed by dependents wishing to accompany those entering in, or already in the UK with Employment visa.' So Do I fall in this category? Should I fill this section or skip this section?

Hi andy2007,

I had done a similar mistake of filling that entire section. When I went to VFS they cancelled the whole page saying it is not needed. Hence, that section should not be filled.

Q.6.4.10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in VAF2 Regarding finance...

Please kindly let me know it as soon as possible...i will be very much thankful to you...
Also please kindly put a list of all the docs u gave with EC
