OCI card application procedure

Post by marksha » Fri Jul 15, 2016 9:03 am

Dear all,

I am about to apply for OCI card for my daughter ( who is 3 years Old) and myself at the same time.

Currently, checking OCI card procedure and would like to check my understanding is appropriate or not

Step 01

I am supposed to upload pics and my signature via filling the online application.
Q1) for my daughter i think could sign myself on behalf of my daughter application?
Q2) I don't find any online application - I suppose the application would be filled via online only?

Step 02

Once I complete the online application then I have to take a printout.
Book in person appointment at nearest Indian consulate then submit all the relevant documents.

Step 03

Check the application status online and collect when they are ready.

Could someone confirm the above procedure is in order and let me know if I am missing anything .

Your response would be appreciated

Kind Regards

I have moved your post to the 'Other Countries' sub forum (where it is now). Suggest read through some of the information to understand the process.
